Yorktown goes to work at another fire   Photo Courtesy of Frank Becerra Jr. of The Journal News             By Web Reporter January 27, 2010   A fire in the Somers fire district called Yorktown to their fourth fire in 2 days. The Fire came in just after 0930 hours. The Somers Fire Chief arrived and immediatly requested Yorktown FAST. While responding YHFD units were advised they'd be going to work and Bedford Hills will be responding as the FAST Unit. YHFD crews assisted Somers in containing and extinguishment of the Basement Fire. Fire damage was contained to the room of origin, but there was smoke damage throughout the residence. YHFD assisted in overhaul and were released shortly after 12pm. Units: Engine 270, Car 2531
