| On May 26, 2008 members of Yorktown Heights Engine Company and Fire District had taken part in the Memorial Day Community Parade. Yorktown FD Held their traditional service in front of the Fire Company's Memorial Monument. Yorktown like many other fire departments has members serving in the military. Also like many others Yorktown has had many of its members become casualty of war and military actions.
Afterwards Yorktown held their annual family BBQ. With the weather being sunny and warm some of the guys set up the old portable pond (now swimming pool) to cool off. |
