| On Sunday, September 28, firefighters from Yorktown responded to Valhalla as members of the Westchester County Hazardous Materials Response Team. The incident was for a simulated chlorine leak at the DEP facility (Shaft 18). Lieutenant Ralph Dykeman and Captain Chet Swirski were part of the initial entry team that donned Level A HAZMAT suits. Firefighter Rich Siepel was part of the Decon Team. |
