A Good Reason To Have a Designated Driver

On March 29, 2009 at 15:51 Yorktown Bravest was dispatched Rt. 35 / Sawmill River Road to a reported MVA with extraction. Crews from Rescue 16 and Eng. 273 and 270 arrived to find the victim (driver) had crawled out through the window. Rescue 16 crew gave assistances to EMS while Eng. 273 stood-by for Tow Company to complete their job. The victim was transported to the area hospital and later arrested by Yorktown Police for DWI.
