YHFD Rescues One with Lo-Angle Rescue

On April 2nd, 2010 YHFD, YVAC and the 34-Medics were dispatched to the North County Bike Trail, just south of Rt 134 for a man down an embankment trapped under a fence. YHFD units arrived on-location and found a single male patient approx 20 feet down an embankment, wedged under a fence. Engine 270's crew along with Rescue 16's crew set up a 2 to 1 with a stokes basket, packaged the patient with the 34-Medics and hoisted the patient from the bottom of the hill. YHFD units then carried and transfered the patient to arriving YVAC members.
