At 4am on 8/8/2010, Yorktown's tanker was requested mutual aid to Millwood FD for a working house fire. Tanker 14 was on the road with a full crew minutes later. Upon arrival, Tanker 14 dropped its portable pond, established a water source at a hydrant and dumped 2 tanks of water along with Croton and Potantico Hills providing water supply. As units were in the process of overhauling and packing up, a firefighter was electrocuted inside the home. We wish our brother a speedy and full recovery. Yorktown units cleared the scene at 6:45 hours.
