Fire In Womans Bathroom at Doctors Office

At 6:40 on Sept 1st, Yorktown fire was dispatched to an inside smoke investigation with a commercial alarm sounding. Upon arrival, 2531 updated incoming units that there was a working fire in the woman's bathroom. 2531 was able to contain the fire to the point of origin with a water can. Engine 273 stretched a precautionary line, and ladder 51 opened the ceiling and went to the roof to check for extension. All units cleared the scene an hour later without incident.
