At 2:48am on Jan 4th, Yorktown fire, along with YVAC and 34-Medic 1 were dispatched to the Taconic Southbound for a reported motor vehicle rollover. Car 2533, Engine 270 and Rescue 16 all signed on responding and arrived on scene to find a single car rolled over onto its roof after flipping multiple times. The driver and passenger both received serious injuries from the accident, but were miraculously able to self extricate themselves from the heavily damaged vehicle prior to FD's arrival. The two patients were transported to Westchester Medical Center via YVAC with a paramedic on board. Yorktown Fire cleared the scene at 3:38am.
