On Wednesday June 21st, 2006 the Yorktown Heights Engine Company #1 hosted their 86th annual Parade and Carnival. The parade included twenty departments from the Northern Westchester and Putnam County area. Many departments brought their oldest and newest pieces of apparatus which provided much enjoyment to the hundreds of spectators who lined the parade route. After the parade ended many of the residents and spectators crowded into the carnival grounds to enjoy the rides, games and food.
