It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of K-9 Blaze. Past Chief Eric DiBatrolo is K-9 Blaze's owner and handler. Both are members of Westchester County Arson Team Zone 4. Blaze was instrumental in several investigations, prosecutions and convictions; most notably he assisted in the conviction to a double homicide in Peekskill.

Blaze was a gentle, and a pleasure to be around, whether it was marching in a parade or showing his skill at varies county meetings. More importantly is when he made appearances in schools with the kids during fire prevention week.
