At 1:35pm Yorktowns Bravest were dispatched to 1846 Commerce Street for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries, car into a building.

Squad 270 responded and arrived on location within a minute of dispatch. YHFD units found a 2 car auto accident, in which one vehicle struck the A-B corner of 1846 Commerce Street. YHFD further found all occupants out of the vehicle with no complaints of injury. Engine 273 responded to assist.

The FD assessed the building, finding no obvious structural damage, cleared the broken window of glass shards, and secured a lightpole with exposed wires that was also struck in the accident.

Yorktown Fire went back in service with Yorktown Police and Building Department remaining on scene.
