At 1240hrs, Yorktown Fire, EMS, and PD were dispatched to a car into the building, with the vehicle smoking.

Engine 270, Rescue 16 signed on responding, and 270 arrived on location to find a single vehicle accident with the store front.

Engine 270's crew determined that there was negative fire, or structural damage to the store, only windows and frame damage, and that FD units were not needed at the scene.

Units returned to service without incident.
