Yorktown Heights Fire District donates their older utility to the Yorktown Building Department Fire Inspector Ed Kolisz. This vehicle will provide him the means to respond to requests from the Lake Mohegan Fire District and the Yorktown Heights Fire District Fire Chiefs. The Fire Inspector plays an important role in the safety of Yorktown residents and business owners.
This is not the first vehicle donated to the Town and recycled into a useful tool. The first one was to the Yorktown Police Dept. for use in the DARE Program back in 2011.
