At 23:50hrs Thursday night Yorktown Fire was dispatched to Rt. 35/Broad St. for an MVA W/ injuries and possible vehicle fire and extrication. Car 2533 arrived to find a 2 car MVA with one vehicle fully involved and multiple patients. Crews from Engine 272 quickly extinguished the vehicle fire and secured both vehicles. No extrication was required with all patients out of the vehicles upon arrival. Members assisted Yorktown EMS with 5 patients that were transported to area hospitals and YPD with lighting for the accident investigation.
