Yorktown Junior Corp member, earns Boy Scouts highest rank “Eagle Scout”

Members of Yorktown Fire congratulate Junior Corp members Salvatore Coniglio for achieving the Boy Scouts of America highest rank of Eagle Scout with Somers Troop 228. Salvator joined the Boy Scouts in 2009 blazing a trail to Eagle Scout, working his way through Tenderfoot, Second and First Class. In 2012 he completed Star and life Scout, setting his goals on Eagle Scout. After completing his project and interviewing with the Eagle Scout Board of Reviews, Salvator became one of 7percent of all Boy Scouts to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Salvatore’s Eagle Project consisted of designing and constructing a spiritual pathway for fellow St. Patrick’s parishioners it enjoy.
