The Members of the Board of Fire Commissioners would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciations to Senator Murphy for his help and all the hard work he does not only for his District but also the State. We would like to also thank Chief Jeff Slotoroff for all the hard work he and his committee put into this grant.
“With the extreme weather patterns and the number of power failures we have been experiencing in the northeast the past few years, it is vitally important that our new firehouse has an alternate power source in order to maintain service,” said Senator Murphy. “We appreciate the job our firemen do and their vigilance in keeping our community safe.” The Yorktown Heights Fire District (YHFD) is responsible for approximately 36.2 square miles and 30,000 residents and businesses. In 2015 alone, the YHFD responded to 608 separate incidents. This entry was posted in press releases. Bookmark the permalink. |
