At approximately 1220 hrs, Yorktown Fire with Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Empress Emergency Medical Services, and New York State Police were dispatched to a rollover MVA.

Car 2532, Rescue Engine 270, Rescue 16 and Engine 273 took in the assignment. While entire, units were updated that the patient was pinned and unresponsive.

Units arrived on location and were met with a car approximately 75' into the woods and down a slight embankment. Crews worked to extricate the patient with the Hurst tools and transfered the patient to EMS.

The patient was pronounced on location, and the scene was turned over to the New York State Police for an accident investigation.
