Fire Damages a Wilson Road home Family Pet saved

Yorktown fire was dispatched around 18:30 hours to a reported house fire on Wilson road. Knowing Wilson Rd. is out of the water district Car 2531 requested additional tanker to respond to the scene. Upon arrival 2531 reported fire showing on the A-side with extension into the attic/roof, with rapidly deteriorating smoke conditions. Homeowner on scene reported all residents out of the home and accounted for. EMS was requested to the scene to evaluate three civilians for smoke inhalation. Crews from Engine 273 stretched lines into the residents to commence an aggressive interior attack on the fire. Extinguishing the heavy fire in the attic bring the call under control around 19:20 hours. Crews remained on the scene checking for hot spots and assisting the Chief and the County Cause and Origin team zone 4 in their investigation. All units cleared the scene around 21:50 hours.
