At approximately 11:20 Yorktown Fire's FASTeam was requested Mutual Aid to Springvale Rd in the Montrose Fire District. Rescue 16 and Car 2531 responded. Rescue 16 arrived on location and immediately began placing ground ladders around the building, while ascertaining building size up and crew accountability reports. First arriving crews were met with extreme fire conditions on 3 floors of the building and made an extremely aggressive stop to halt the progression of the fire to further apartments. Yorktown Fire cleared the scene at approximately 1330hrs.
