| At 11:55hrs, Car 2535, Rescue-Engine 270 and Rescue 16 responded to Gomer St in the area of Sterling Terrace for the reported MVA-vehicle into a utility pole with possible entrapment. Yorktown Heights Fire units arrived and confirmed they had 1 patient trapped with the hydraulic extrication tools going to work. YHFD volunteers secured the vehicle and removed the drivers side door to provide EMS access to the patient. The patient was transported by Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps to an area hospital. The scene was turned over Yorktown Police Department and NYSEG, all YHFD units returned to service. |
