Yesterday, the YHFD had the distinct honor of assisting with the retirement ceremony of Yorktown Police Department Chief Robert Noble.
YHFD Ladder 51 and Ladder 35 from the Lake Mohegan Professional Firefighters Local 2956/Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association flew the “Stars and Stripes” during the “walkout ceremony” and words of praise from multiple speakers about Chief Nobles storied 33 years in Law Enforcement as he rose through the ranks and later served as the Chief of Police in the Town of Yorktown for a decade.
To Chief Noble. We cannot even begin to thank you enough for your unwavering service, dedication and the level of compassion you’ve had for our community over the years. The outstanding working and personal relationship the YHFD and YPD has enjoyed over the years is a direct reflection of your leadership. And we look forward to continuing to build upon that legacy with incoming Chief of Police Justin Foley.
Congratulations Chief Noble! We wish you and your family a happy and safe retirement. The doors at the YHFD are always open when you want to stop by!
