| Around 3:00 pm on Saturday the 19th, Yorktown's bravest were dispatched to Mohansice Ave. for a car fire. Engine 270 arrived quickly with a full crew and found a fully involved SUV. Crews quickly went to work extinguishing the blaze and had the scene under control in minutes. Riding on the engine was one of Yorktown's newest interior firefighters Probationary Firefighter Greg Furman. FF Furman was in control of the nozzle and did an excellent job knocking down the fire. Units cleared in approximately 20 minutes. |
