At 18:25 Yorktown was dispatched to the first of what would be 3 accidents on Route 35 by Willoway St. and Greenwood St. This accident had left one person trapped in the vehicle. Crews on Rescue 16 performed a "door-pop," and then assisted in packaging the patient for transport. Shortly after clearing that scene, at 19:12 crews were dispatched to another accident at the same location. This accident was a head on collision at which Yorktown Firefighters assisted in the packaging of 4 patients. YVAC transported the patients to Hudson Valley Hospital. The next morning at 08:08 Yorktown was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident rollover at Route 35 and Greenwood St. The driver was
out upon arrival, the scene was secured for removal of the vehicle.
