On Wednesday the 12th the Yorktown Heights Engine Company Junior Corp took part in a ventilation drill. Junior Corp members were broken into two groups and completed both peak roof venting using the cutters edge saw and flat roof venting utilizing the k12 saw. Members were advised the correct and safe way to operate the saws and how to properly make cuts in the various roofs. The Junior Corp is a group of fire department recruits aging from 15-17 years old.
