On December 5th 2010 at 1428Hrs Yorktown Fire units were dispatched to Rt 100 between Crow Hill Rd and Seven Bridges Rd for a MVA/ Rollover with injuries. Multiple Yorktown members were at YHFD HQ with Bedford Hills FD undergoing training in Aerial and Tower Ladder Operations. Engines 270, 273, Car 2538 signed on immediately with full crews. While in route 60 Control updated the call to MVA with confirmed extrication. Rescue 16, Car 2533 signed on at this point. On arrival YHFD and BHFD units found a two car MVA - One rolled over and one into the woods with pin. Members went to work stabilizing the vehicle, stretching a hand line off E-273 and putting E-270's tool in operation. The patient was extricated quickly and transported by YVAC to Westchester County Medical Center.
