Yorktown Takes in another FAST Assignment for Mohegan 10-75 Box

At 0609 hrs, Mohegan Fire was dispatched to an automatic alarm at Augies Steak House on Lexington Ave. Engine 252 arrived to find a small fire on the second floor and attempted to hold it with a can. Ladder 35 then transmitted the 10-75 assignment bringing in Yorktown's FASTeam, and Mahopac Falls Rescue.
Mohegan Command requested that an additional FASTeam be dispatched approximately 3 minutes after the Box was struck, and Peekskill FAST was requested to the scene on the special call assignment. Yorktown FAST was on the road with a full FAST team and while in route, was updated that the fire had been contained, and Command was requesting that Peekskill stand down, and Yorktown continue in as the FAST unit.
Crews were able to hold the fire to the point of origin, and released all Mutual Aid units at approximately 7am. Yorktown units cleared the scene without any further incident.
