At 14:32, Yorktown Fire was alerted to an MVA with extrication on Rt 100, between Rt 134 and Seven Bridges Rd. Engine 270, Engine 273, Rescue 16 and Car 2533 all signed on responding moments after dispatch. Engine 270 arrived first on scene and updated incoming units that there were a total of 3 patients, with one being heavily trapped. Crews removed and treated two patients, while it was determined that one patient was DOA. Yorktown Police began their accident investigation as the county medical examiner was called to the scene. Yorktown fire units cleared the scene around 17:00 hrs without further incident.
