Two Accidents in the Construction Zone on the Taconic, in the Same Area, in Less Then 12 Hours

On July 21st at 2016 hrs, Yorktown Fire, Millwood Fire, YVAC, OVAC and the 34-medics were notified of an accident with injuries Northbound on the TSP just north of the Yorktown District line, and arrived to find a single vehicle in the woods with 1 patient. Yorktown and Millwood Units assisted in patient care and scene lighting until the patient was cared for and the car was removed.
Then at 0738 hrs on July 22nd, the same assignment was dispatched to the same area for a rollover accident with injuries and a possible car fire. Arriving units found that there was negative fire, a total of 3 injured but stable patients, and a fluid spill. Fire units again assisted EMS, stabilized the scene, and cleared without further incident.
