At approximately 18:30 hour's volunteers from the BHFD were dispatched to 109 Stone Bridge Lane for a Residential Alarm, which was quickly upgraded to a reported structure fire. First Arriving Bedford Hills found a very large 3 story private dwelling with heavy fire showing from the garage and extending up to the 2nd floor and attic. As BHFD units were conducting an aggressive interior attack on the fire. BHFD command requested Ladder 51 to relocate to their headquarters for a stand by. L-51 was en route to its transfer with a full crew of volunteers when the 2nd alarm was sounded bringing L-51 to the scene as the FAST Truck. As YHFD units arrived on scene they staged as the primary FASTeam as Command had pulled crews out of the fire building due to deteriorating conditions and let the Tower Ladder go into operation. After the 3rd alarm was sounded the crew from L-51 was put to work with its crew operating on both the 1st and 2nd floor as members were allowed to reenter the fire building to knock down any remaining pockets of fire and for overhaul. YHFD remained on the scene for approximately 3 hours and returned to service shortly before all Bedford Hills units cleared the scene.
