On March 31st, at 14:26hrs. Yorktown Heights Fire was dispatched with our Firefighter Assist & Search Team (F.A.S.T.) to assist the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department after they transmitted the 10-75 (working fire) for a dwelling fire on Palmer Ave in the Village. Car 2532, Car 2533, and Rescue 16 responded on the assignment and while YHFD units were en-route the 2nd Alarm of fire was sounded. YHFD units arrived and were immediately put to work by the Croton IC. Yorktown Heights Volunteer Firefighters operated in the basement performing searches and opening up.
